Introduction : Community

The outcomes of my work are determined by the physical and social environment within which they are to be placed. This means that the experience of the people who “own” the space, whether this is a transient and temporary ownership, or a regular and permanent part of life, is a major factor in the ultimate form the art takes.
Each project has a unique structure of community engagement. I collaborate with other artists working in other disciplines to offer a stimulating creative experience which feeds into the design process and animates the resulting artwork.
